EMBODIMENT AND BROTHERHOOD
Men’s embodiment work has roots in ancient traditions.
Through practices derived from yoga, qigong, meditation and martial arts, we expand our nervous systems and strengthen our hearts.
Our bodies hold wisdom best accessed in brotherhood. We form a tribe of trust.
They are accomplished, attractive, enviable and stable.
And yet…
They feel something is missing.
Something they often can’t quite name: meaning, depth, connection, intimacy.
Some version of: “I’ve done all I set out to achieve but… is this all there is?”
Most feel frustration in relationship. Some version of —
“No matter what I do, it’s never good enough.” They love their partners, but nothing seems to break the cycle. They crave appreciation, devotion, trust. As men who know exactly what to at work, the confusion around not knowing what to do at home is especially painful.
Most harbor a secret fear — if they’re brave enough to admit it — that it will never get better. They worry they might “die before I die.” Perhaps they way their fathers did. They dread not living life to its full potential of love, depth and meaning.
They want more love, joy, connection, intimacy, freedom, vitality, appreciation, strength, impact and trust.
They want to feel more at home in the world and at home in their skin.
They want this for themselves and for their partners, for their children and for the world.
All of this is within reach. As the men I’ve worked with have found:
It’s closer than you think.
“Men I work with are good men — smart, dedicated and successful. Masters in their chosen professions, who make a mark in the world.”
